Horse Button

Just Horsin' around! Hah! Coundn't resist:)
I began carving this horse some time ago,
but only finished it yesterday.

Look at the details,
the tiny head has a detailed mane.
I stuck a pencil tip in for scale here.

This beautiful carved button is 1.5 inches wide and 1 inch tall,
and about 1/2 inch thick.
It is carved from shed moose antler.

As you can see, this button is self-shanked.
Here we see my signature, 'T. Runfeldt'
and 12-2005.
This button was completed December 2nd, 2005.
