Odin's Mask Button in Moose Antler |
|---|
![]() Here is a classic Odin's Mask, in the form of a button. It is considered symbolic of Cunning and Discretion. Odin is considered the highest god in Norse mythology. His role, like many of the Norse pantheon, is complex: he is god of both wisdom and war. He is also attested as being a god of magic, poetry, victory, and the hunt. I carved this button on the day of this posting, January 17th, 2006. It was carved from a nice piece of Shed Moose Antler. As you can see, it is polished to a high shine. ![]() This button is self-shanked. It is 1 and 3/8ths inches tall, 7/8ths inches wide, and 5/16ths of an inch thick. It is signed, T.R. and dated 2006. It is the second piece that I am offering for sale this year. This button includes a decorative certificate of Authenticity. Each shipment will include a free mystery gift-with-purchase Which has an M.S.R.P. of over fifteen dollars! |
