Greenman Button in Elk Antler

This Greenman still has all his leaves, despite the season.

He seems to be gazing out over the forest

As is my usual habit,
I carved as amny leaves on this fellow, as I could.

The signature and date are hidden on the back.

This carving is 1 and 1/2 inches tall,
3/4ths of an inch wide,
and 7/8ths of an inch deep.

I failed to leave any part of this button uncarved,
so I squeezed the signature and date in between two leaves.
Here we can see the tip of a pencil near my 'TR'
and the date, 2006.
I carved this one out of the tine of a Spring Shed Elk Antler.
This button was completed January 17th, 2006
