Bakelite Tree with Vegetable Ivory Button

This button was carved from a Vintage Bakelite bracelet tube.

I managed to carve this button without disturbing the original patina of this bakelite.
The front surface and back of the shank are oxidized,
and have that cool, aged appearance.

The material will pass any test you care to perform.
It is guaranteed to be Bakelite.

I inlaid a disk of Palm Nut Vegeatable Ivory,
to enhance contrast.

It is 3/4ths of an inch in diameter,
and 5/16ths of an inch thick.

If you have any doubts as to the authenticity of the material,
I will refund your full purchase price AND shipping costs.

I will also include one of the cut-off scraps from these pieces
so that you may perform destructive tests if you wish.
